macOS

Install the RoMacShade app and use its launcher to start Roblox with the effects overlay.

Download RoMacShade v0.0.1

Install

  1. Download the latest stable DMG from the GitHub release.
  2. Open the downloaded disk image and drag RoMacShade.app into Applications.
  3. Open RoMacShade from Applications. If Gatekeeper asks, Control-click the app, choose Open, then confirm. You can also use the Open Anyway option shown in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Launch Roblox with effects

  1. In RoMacShade, choose Launch Roblox with RoMacShade and wait for the Roblox window to open.
  2. In a 3D experience, click the floating R control or press ⌘E to open the overlay.
  3. Choose effects or a preset. Press ⌘B to compare the processed image with effects bypassed.

The launcher prepares a separate local host copy. Keep the original Roblox app installed and launch through RoMacShade when you want effects.
